COMMENTS: An interesting kite shaped sapphire cut from a dogtooth sapphire crystal. This stone is a rich blue in the wide end and a lighter greenish blue in the pointed end. There is also a bit of color banding. The bottom was cut in a single row of "reflector" facets and the top has three rows of step facets.
