COMMENTS:  This is a deep blue sapphire that can look kind of dark in the middle, but has some very pretty royal to cornflower blue flashes as you roll it back and for the long way.  It needs a bit of direct light, but is a pretty stone when it shows its colors.  The brighter blue flashes eminating from the darker blue base color are interesting.
