COMMENTS: This is a good example of how a sunstone can be cut to minimize the appearance of the copper schiller and bring out the colors from the "spot". In this case, the color spot is a very nice pinkish orange and has a blue-green halo that barely shows when the stone is face up, but can be clearly seen from the back of the stone. There is just nothing like the uniqueness of an Oregon sunstone!
